Galaxy A7 (2018) has an overall score of 84.2, which is slightly better than Huawei P20 Pro's general score of 81.4. Galaxy A7 (2018) is a just a little lighter and just a little bit thinner phone than the Huawei P20 Pro, although both were only released with a few months difference. Huawei P20 Pro features a little faster processing unit than Galaxy A7 (2018). Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
Huawei P20 Pro features a screen that is just as good as the display in Galaxy A7 (2018), because although the Huawei P20 Pro has a little bit inferior pixels amount per display inch, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2240. The Huawei P20 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a smaller camera aperture, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor capturing much better quality pictures and videos, a lot better (4K) video quality and a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Galaxy A7 (2018) has a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.
