Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is a bit better than Galaxy S9, with a general score of 84.2 against 83.3. Even though Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Galaxy S9 were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) construction is a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier. Galaxy S9 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of display.

The Galaxy S9 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A7 (2018), although it has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. The Galaxy A7 (2018) counts with a way bigger storage for applications and games than Galaxy S9, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy S9 has a bit better camera than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures and videos and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
