Galaxy A7 (2018) has a global score of 84.2, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's general score of 78.1. Galaxy A7 (2018)'s design has the same weight than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it is a little thinner. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy A7 (2018), although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920px resolution, a just a bit inferior number of pixels per display inch and a little bit smaller display.
Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) also has 4 more cpu cores. The Galaxy A7 (2018) has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures, a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a larger aperture to take better photography in poorly lited environments.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) features a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus features just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy A7 (2018), because it has 3800mAh of battery capacity against 3300mAh.
