Galaxy A7 (2018) is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, having a general score of 84.2 against 79. Galaxy A7 (2018)'s construction is thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, despite of the fact that it was released around 18 months before. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a processing unit that's very similar to the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) one, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has a little bit better screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2220px resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy A7 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a much more MP back-facing camera, a lot bigger sensor and a much higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Galaxy A7 (2018) features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy A7 (2018) also has 64 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), because it has a 52 percent bigger battery size.
