The Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is better than the Samsung Galaxy A7's general score of 75.4. Huawei P40's body is extremely newer than Samsung Galaxy A7's, but it is thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS, but the Huawei P40 has 10 version while Samsung Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4.

The Huawei P40 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A7, because although it has a 32 bits CPU instead of 64-bits and doesn't have a graphics processor, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy A7 features just a bit better looking screen than Huawei P40, although it has a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a little bit inferior pixel count in each display inch and a little smaller display.
