Moto G7 Plus is slightly better than the Galaxy A7, with a 76.1 score against 75.4. Moto G7 Plus's design is noticeably newer than the Galaxy A7's, although it's notably thicker and heavier. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Moto G7 Plus has an older 10 version and Galaxy A7 has Android 4.4.4 version.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 features just a little better hardware performance than Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy A7 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bits CPU. Galaxy A7 features a much better screen than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, although it has a bit smaller display, a bit lower number of pixels per inch of display and a bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Motorola Moto G7 Plus captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7, because it has a lot higher video resolution and a back facing camera with a higher resolution. Moto G7 Plus has a way bigger memory to install games and applications than Galaxy A7, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
The Motorola Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit superior battery performance than Galaxy A7, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
