Moto Z3 Play is a bit better than Galaxy A7, getting a 76.3 score against 75.4. Even though the Moto Z3 Play is notably newer than the Galaxy A7, it's just a little thicker and just a little heavier. Galaxy A7 has a little better performance than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A7 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a graphics co-processor.
Galaxy A7 has a brighter screen than Moto Z3 Play, although it has a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, a quite smaller screen and a little less pixels per inch in the display. The Moto Z3 Play counts with a much greater memory to install games and applications than Galaxy A7, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A7, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh. Motorola Moto Z3 Play takes greater videos and photos than Galaxy A7, because although it has a camera in the back with a lower resolution, it also counts with a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
Although Motorola Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs more money than the Samsung Galaxy A7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A7. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A7, letting go a couple specs and features.
