Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A7, getting a general score of 81.2 against 75.4. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 body is much newer, but somewhat thicker and way heavier than Samsung Galaxy A7. The Samsung Galaxy A7 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, although it has a just a bit lower screen pixels density, a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2's CPU is just as good as the processor in Galaxy A7, because although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a 32-bits processor against 64-bits and doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A7, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 240 GB more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features superior battery duration than Galaxy A7, because it has a 31 percent more battery size. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy A7, because although it has a worse 12 MP resolution camera, it also counts with a way higher (4K) video quality.
Although Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy A7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy A7. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy A7, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
