Sony Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A70, having a 78.3 score against 76.9. The Sony Xperia XZ1 is an older phone than Samsung Galaxy A70, but Sony was able to make it somewhat lighter and just a little thinner. Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy A70, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xperia XZ1 has a little bit more memory for apps and games than Galaxy A70, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The Galaxy A70 has a superior battery life than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4500mAh battery size. Xperia XZ1 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A70. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A70, resigning some features and specifications.
