Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has a global score of 91.8, which is better than the Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 overall score. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's design has the same thickness than the Google Pixel 3a, but it is way heavier. Both phones in this review come with the same Android 11 OS. The Galaxy A71 5G counts with a bit faster processor than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A71 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Google Pixel 3a has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2220px, it also counts with a bit higher display density. Galaxy A71 5G shoots greater pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a same size camera aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A71 5G also has a camera with lot more mega pixels and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality.

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
