Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 5G has a score of 91.8, which is a little bit better than Huawei P40's overall score of 86.4. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A71 5G has a more recent 11 version while Huawei P40 has Android 10. Even though the Galaxy A71 5G and the Huawei P40 were only released with a couple of months difference, Galaxy A71 5G's body is just a bit heavier but also just a little thinner than the Huawei P40.
Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A71 5G. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei P40 counts with a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a little bit greater display pixel density.
Galaxy A71 5G features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy A71 5G also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy A71 5G counts with a little longer battery performance than Huawei P40, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and Huawei P40 count with extremely similar cameras, because although the Huawei P40 has a smaller aperture, a back camera with a way lower 50 megapixels resolution and a lower (4K) video quality, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality videos and photographs.
Although Galaxy A71 5G is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P40. If you want to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
