Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a bit better than Galaxy A71 5G, getting a overall score of 94.6 against 91.8. Both phones in this review include the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so both should provide the user identical operating system features. Although the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Galaxy A71 5G were released with only 3 months difference, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 construction is somewhat thinner but incredibly heavier.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy A71 5G feature incredibly similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1768 x 2208px and a little larger display. The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G features more storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A71 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G features a superior camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also counts with a larger camera sensor which provides a better image and video quality and a back-facing camera with a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G and Galaxy Z Fold 2 feature really similar battery durations.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy A71 5G, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy A71 5G. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy A71 5G, letting go a couple features and specs.
