Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has a global score of 91.8, which is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 general score. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has newer 11 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has Android 10, so it gives a couple nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's design is just a bit thinner and lighter than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, even though both of them were only released with a couple months difference.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G counts with a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a screen with the same size and the same count of pixels per inch of display. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a processing unit that is very similar to Samsung Galaxy A71 5G's processor, they have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Galaxy A71 5G features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A71 5G, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 5G captures slightly better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same (4K) video resolution, a same resolution camera in the back and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also has a bigger aperture for better photography in poorly lited situations.
