Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 2, having a score of 87.5 against 81.6. Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is heavier than the Google Pixel 2, it's a bit thinner and way newer. The Google Pixel 2 counts with a CPU that's very similar to the processing unit in Galaxy A71, and although the Google Pixel 2 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Google Pixel 2 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a way smaller display and a little worse 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater display pixels density. The Galaxy A71 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy A71 has a way better battery life than Google Pixel 2, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 2700mAh. Samsung Galaxy A71 shoots much better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 2, and although they both have the same video resolution, the same camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution and a way bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Although Samsung Galaxy A71 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your savings.
