Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 30 Pro's 87.1 general score. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has 11 version while Huawei Mate 30 Pro has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy A71 design is somewhat thinner and a little lighter than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, even when they were only released with a couple months difference.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1176 x 2400 resolution and a little more pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy A71 captures slightly better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has lower video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same size back camera sensor, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a way higher resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy A71 features a slightly better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 30 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Huawei Mate 30 Pro has a battery life that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Galaxy A71.
