Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 is better than the Huawei P20, getting an 87.5 score against 78.1. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Galaxy A71 has older 11 version and Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy A71 construction has the same thickness than the Huawei P20, but it's a bit heavier.
The Huawei P20 has a processing unit that's very similar to the processor in Galaxy A71, and although the Huawei P20 has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Huawei P20 has a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2244 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better amount of pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy A71 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 features greater battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 32 percent greater battery capacity.
Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior camera than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A71 also has a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
Samsung Galaxy A71 is way more expensive than Huawei P20, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a better phone for that extra money.
