Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A71 is much better than OnePlus 8, having a score of 87.5 against 76. Although Samsung Galaxy A71 and OnePlus 8 were only released 3 months apart, Samsung Galaxy A71 is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. OnePlus 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 features a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Galaxy A71 counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 features just a little bit longer battery performance than OnePlus 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. Galaxy A71 features a bit better camera than OnePlus 8, because although it has lower video frame rate, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a way better 64 MP resolution back facing camera and a larger back camera sensor.
The Galaxy A71 costs more money than OnePlus 8, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
