Samsung Galaxy A71 is much better than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, getting an 87.5 score against 79.3. The Samsung Galaxy A71 body is newer, but just a little thicker and heavier than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A71 has a newer 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has Android 5.1, so it gives a lot of extra features.
The Galaxy S6 edge+ has a much better display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a greater display density. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a much greater memory for apps and games than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy A71 has a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has 7 more cpu cores and a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a way larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a back camera with a way higher 64 megapixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light environments.
Samsung Galaxy A71 features a much better battery life than Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
