Galaxy A12 has a general score of 80.3, which is much better than the Galaxy A8 (2016)'s overall score of 72.8. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Galaxy A12 has 10 version while Galaxy A8 (2016) has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Galaxy A12 is a notably newer device than the Galaxy A8 (2016), but it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
Galaxy A8 (2016) counts with a little bit better screen than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel number per inch in the screen and a higher 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a lot bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy A8 (2016), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1 TB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy A12 also has more RAM.
