The Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is better than the Galaxy A8 (2016)'s score of 72.8. Although Xperia 5 is thicker than the Galaxy A8 (2016), it's just a little lighter and also much newer. The Sony Xperia 5 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy A8 (2016), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
