Comparison review
Galaxy S6 edge+ is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), getting a general score of 79.3 against 79.2. Even though Galaxy S6 edge+ is much older than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), it's body is lighter and thinner. Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) has a bit better processing power than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a higher number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a better looking display than Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, a just a bit greater pixels density and a little bigger screen. Galaxy S6 edge+ shoots a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A8 (2018), because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and videos, and they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy S6 edge+ also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
Galaxy A8 (2018) and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ have really similar batteries performance.
