The Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, with an 82.1 score against 79.6. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro has Android 12 version. The Galaxy A8 Star is an way older device than the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, but Samsung was able to build it much lighter and noticeably thinner anyway.
The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro counts with a much better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit bigger display, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2448px and a little bit better pixels density. Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro counts with much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Galaxy A8 Star features a way better performance than Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a better camera than Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro, although it has a back camera with lot less mega pixels. Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro features a way better battery performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 62% more battery capacity.
