The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3, having an 82.1 score against 80. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's body is way heavier but just a little thinner than the Google Pixel 3, and they were released with only 2 months difference. The Google Pixel 3 has a bit faster processor than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

Google Pixel 3 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixel count in each inch in the display. The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a SD card slot that supports up to 400 GB.

Galaxy A8 Star features greater battery performance than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 2915mAh. The Galaxy A8 Star has a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor giving a worse image quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a bigger aperture for better low-light photos and a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
