The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 overall score. Although the Galaxy A8 Star and Google Pixel 3a were released only 8 months apart, the Galaxy A8 Star construction is notably heavier but also just a little bit thinner. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11.
The Google Pixel 3a counts with a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2220 resolution, the Google Pixel 3a also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen.
