Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the Huawei Mate 20, getting a score of 82.1 against 79.5. Both of these devices work with the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System), so both of them should give identical OS features. Galaxy A8 Star's design is a little thinner but a little heavier than Huawei Mate 20, and they were released with only a couple of months difference.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Huawei Mate 20 has a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2244 pixels resolution and a bit bigger screen.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has more memory for applications and games than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
