Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than the Huawei P30, with an 82.1 score against 81.7. The Galaxy A8 Star body has the same thickness than the Huawei P30, but it's heavier. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P30 has Android 10, so it gives you a couple additional features and enhanced performance.
Huawei P30 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340px resolution and a little bit better screen pixel density. Galaxy A8 Star has a better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P30, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that holds up to 400 GB.
Huawei P30 features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 CPU cores.
