Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Huawei P30 Lite, having an 82.1 score against 77. Both of these phones use the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any differences regarding that. Galaxy A8 Star is an a little thicker and heavier phone than the Huawei P30 Lite.
The Huawei P30 Lite has just a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit better screen density and a bit higher 1080 x 2312 pixels resolution.
