The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite's general score of 79.5. The Galaxy A8 Star design is somewhat thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, but it's just a little heavier and was released just a bit over a year before. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version.
The Huawei P40 Lite and Samsung Galaxy A8 Star feature quite similar processors, both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Huawei P40 Lite features a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a little larger display, a quite better 1080 x 2310 pixels resolution and a quite better pixel count per screen inch.
