Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than the LG G3's score of 76.4. Both phones in our current comparison have Android OS, but Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G3 has Android 5.0 version. Galaxy A8 Star is a way newer and somewhat thinner phone than the LG G3, although it is noticeably heavier.

LG G3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 4 less processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit. LG G3 has a way better screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity in each screen inch and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a bit better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a lot bigger diafragm aperture for better photos and videos in low light environments, a larger sensor and a higher resolution back camera.

The Galaxy A8 Star features a very superior memory for games and applications than LG G3, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 400 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with improved battery duration than LG G3, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
