Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the LG G5, getting an 82.1 score against 76.1. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy A8 Star is a way newer cellphone than LG G5, although it is heavier and a little bit thicker.

The LG G5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater pixels count in each inch of screen. The Galaxy A8 Star has a bit faster processing unit than LG G5, because it has more CPU cores and a higher amount of RAM.
