Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy A8 Star is a way newer cellphone than LG G5, although it is heavier and a little bit thicker.
