Comparison review

The Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than LG G7 Fit, having an 82.1 score against 77. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G7 Fit has Android 8.1 Oreo version, offering some nice extra features and enhanced performance. Even though the Galaxy A8 Star and the LG G7 Fit were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy A8 Star's construction is just a bit thinner but somewhat heavier than the LG G7 Fit.

The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G7 Fit, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and a higher number of cores. LG G7 Fit features a much sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a better number of pixels per inch in the display.

The Galaxy A8 Star takes clearer pictures and videos than LG G7 Fit, and although they both have the same resolution camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a much larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography.

The LG G7 Fit has a bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with longer battery life than LG G7 Fit, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
