Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ is slightly better than Galaxy A8 Star, having a overall score of 84.3 against 82.1. Although the LG G8 ThinQ and Galaxy A8 Star were released with only a couple months difference, the LG G8 ThinQ construction is lighter but just a little bit thicker. Both of these phones have the same Android 9.0 Pie OS (Operating System).
LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a higher pixel count per inch in the display.
LG G8 ThinQ takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a back-facing camera with lot less mega-pixels and a lower video resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture and a bigger sensor taking better quality photos.
