Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the LG Stylo 6, having an 82.1 score against 76.7. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is older than LG Stylo 6, it's construction is somewhat thinner and lighter. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Stylo 6 has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features and better performance.
The LG Stylo 6 counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen, a little bigger display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2460px. The LG Stylo 6's CPU is just as good as the CPU in Galaxy A8 Star, and although the LG Stylo 6 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The LG Stylo 6 features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the LG Stylo 6 also has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG Stylo 6 has just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has an 8 percent greater battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star captures clearer videos and photos than LG Stylo 6, because it has a lot better video quality, a larger aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments, a better resolution back camera and a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
