The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than the LG V10's 78.6 overall score. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and LG V10 has Android 5.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and improved performance. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star design is newer, a bit lighter and thinner than LG V10.

LG V10 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixels amount in each screen inch and a better 2560 x 1440 resolution.
