The LG V30S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's overall score of 82.1. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but LG V30S ThinQ has 8.0 Oreo version while Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie. The LG V30S ThinQ body is lighter and a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, although both of them were released with only 6 months difference.
The LG V30S ThinQ features a bit better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a greater display density.
