Although LG Velvet is just a little bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, it's a little bit lighter and newer. LG Velvet counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2460, a bit bigger screen and a just a little greater pixels density.
