The Motorola Edge 40 Pro body is extremely newer than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's, but it is somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier. Both phones in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the older 13 version while Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
