Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, with a score of 82.1 against 77.5. Even though Galaxy A8 Star and Motorola Moto G6 Plus were released with only a couple months difference, the Galaxy A8 Star body is heavier but a little bit thinner. The Moto G6 Plus has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a quite bigger storage to store more apps and games than Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star and Moto G6 Plus count with quite similar processors, they have a Octa-Core CPU and a 6 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star captures clearer photos and videos than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a smaller sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, a F1.7 aperture and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a much more megapixels back facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a bit superior battery performance than Moto G6 Plus, because it has a 3700mAh battery size against 3200mAh.
