Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has an overall score of 82.1, which is a bit better than the Moto Z2 Force Edition's 77.4 score. Although the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is newer than Moto Z2 Force Edition, it's extremely thicker and way heavier. The Moto Z2 Force Edition has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality videos and pictures, a way more MP back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images in poorly lited situations.
Moto Z2 Force Edition counts with a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Moto Z2 Force Edition also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a really longer battery duration than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.
