The Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is a bit better than Motorola One Zoom's 80 global score. Despite of the fact the Galaxy A8 Star is older and just a bit heavier than the Motorola One Zoom, it's design is still thinner. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola One Zoom, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a higher amount of RAM.

Motorola One Zoom counts with a screen that is very similar to the Galaxy A8 Star one, although the Motorola One Zoom also has a just a little higher pixel density, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little bigger display. Motorola One Zoom features a little bit more memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage.

The Motorola One Zoom has just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Motorola One Zoom counts with a superior camera than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola One Zoom also has a way bigger sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution.
