Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is slightly better than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G's 79.8 overall score. The Galaxy A8 Star is an older device than the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, but Samsung managed to build it thinner and just a little lighter. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while OnePlus 7 Pro 5G has Android 10 version, providing the user a couple additional features.
OnePlus 7 Pro 5G counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, a bit bigger display and more pixels per inch in the screen.
