Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than OnePlus 8 UW, getting an 82.1 score against 75.9. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10. The Galaxy A8 Star is an older and a little bit heavier phone than OnePlus 8 UW, but Samsung could make it a little bit thinner anyway.
OnePlus 8 UW counts with a brighter display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit bigger screen, a little more pixels per screen inch and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The OnePlus 8 UW has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4300mAh battery size. The OnePlus 8 UW has a better camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for shooting photographs or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with higher 60 fps video frame rate, a way better resolution camera in the back and a lot bigger camera sensor capturing much higher quality pictures.
