Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy A21's 76.1 overall score. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy A21 has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is an older device than Galaxy A21, but it is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy A21 counts with a CPU that is just as good as Galaxy A8 Star's CPU, and although the Samsung Galaxy A21 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a bit better looking display than Galaxy A21, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel quantity per display inch and a way higher 1080 x 2220 resolution.
The Galaxy A8 Star takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A21, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a larger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera aperture to take better photography in low-light situations.
The Galaxy A8 Star has a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A21, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 400 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy A21 has a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
