Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than Galaxy A30, with an 82.1 score against 79.6. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's construction has the same thickness than Galaxy A30, but it's somewhat heavier. Samsung Galaxy A30 counts with a display that's very similar to Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's display, although the Samsung Galaxy A30 also has a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution, a little bit higher amount of pixels in each screen inch and a bit larger screen.
