The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a score of 87, which is just a bit better than Galaxy A8 Star's 82.1 score. The Samsung Galaxy A42 construction is noticeably newer than Galaxy A8 Star's, although it is somewhat thicker and a little heavier. These phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version and Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
