The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a global score of 87.5, which is a little bit better than Galaxy A8 Star's 82.1 overall score. Samsung Galaxy A71 is a just a bit lighter phone than Galaxy A8 Star, but both of them have the same thickness. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A71 has the previous 11 version while Galaxy A8 Star has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Galaxy A8 Star and the Samsung Galaxy A71 both have really similar processing units, they have 8 cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy A8 Star and Galaxy A71 both count with really similar displays, although the Galaxy A71 also has a just a bit higher pixel quantity per inch of display, a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little larger display.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back camera with way more MP.
