Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is slightly better than the Galaxy C5, with a general score of 82.1 against 76.4. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy C5 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, providing you a couple nice extra features.
