Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a little bit better than the Galaxy Note 4, getting an 82.1 score against 81.6. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star design is much newer and just a little thinner than the Galaxy Note 4's, although it is also just a little heavier. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0.

The Galaxy Note 4 features a more vivid display than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a higher display density. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a SD memory slot that admits up to 400 GB and 64 GB internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4's camera is just as good as Galaxy A8 Star's camera, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a lot smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same 30 fps video frame rates and a same resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor which offers a higher image and video quality.

The Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 4, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.
