Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. Galaxy A8 Star's construction has the same thickness than the Galaxy Note 5, but it's heavier. These phones work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1 version.
Galaxy Note 5 has a better looking screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel number per inch in the screen and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores.
Galaxy A8 Star counts with a very superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Samsung Galaxy A8 Star features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 23 percent more battery capacity.
The Galaxy Note 5 counts with a camera that's just as good as Samsung Galaxy A8 Star's camera, because although the Galaxy Note 5 has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, a 16 mega pixels resolution back facing camera and the same 30 fps video frame rate, it also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality.
