Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, getting an 82.1 score against 80.4. The Galaxy A8 Star design is newer and just a little thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition's, although it is heavier. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display and a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a slightly bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 400 GB.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition's processor is very similar to the CPU in Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, and although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star captures a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier camera sensor offering a worse image quality, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a same size camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also counts with a back facing camera with much more mega pixels.
Galaxy A8 Star features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 16 percent larger battery capacity.
